Cool Breeze and Captain Scott have been busy with their sailboat chartering business, Mystic Journeys. We are moored at Swantown Marina and take up to 6 clients cruising Budd Inlet aboard Traveler, a 42' cutter-rigged sloop at a moments notice. Sometimes the wind is favorable and she delights us with 7 knots! This week we sailed to Boston Harbor in less than an hour! We serve snacks and beverages and enjoy the stories of our guests that come from near and far to explore the southern Salish Sea. On longer cruises dinner is served aboard as we watch the mountains turn from amber to rose and deep violet...How fortunate we are to be here. Heading back to Swantown from Dofflemeyer Point Malia at the helm being instructed by Captain Scott on compass bearings. Magical Mount Tahoma at sunset Newlywed bliss! About to be newlywed bachelorette! Cool Breeze playing a lullaby for an over tired toddler. Many a tale to tell.

Another successful Arts Walk Thank you Olympia community for a fun-filled, creative weekend! Cool Breeze joined by Ms. Kathleen played 2 shows to crowds of people who came out to celebrate the Earth and the arts. Shoebox Spirits was packed for our Friday evening performance and Gallery Boom and the Artisan's Market saw swarms of folks of all ages on Saturday afternoon while Procession participants prepared to parade. Cool Breeze and Ms. Kathleen are working on their next show starting with some publicity shots. They will be performing for Artswalk in the capitol city of Washington, Friday and Saturday April 27 and 28. If you have never experienced Olympia's Artswalk you have been missing out on the event of a life time! Thousands swarm the streets, some of which are blocked, so prepare to park your car or even better, walk or take the bus. Galleries and shops are open late and filled with local artists work, performers in most every venue with additional outdoor stages. On Friday night the festivities begin at 5 pm and culminates with the Luminary Procession. Saturday continues the celebration starting around noon with a grand finale of the Procession of the Species starting around 4:30 pm. The Procession began as an Evergreen State College event in the 80's celebrating Earth Day and has grown to it's present day extravaganza. What an evolution! From a single file of a f...

Hello from Cool Breeze! Thank you for coming out to Dillinger's for Music Mondays. It was a very successful evening with some transcending moments for performers and audience alike. Kathleen and I had fun and will continue to work together on our duet. Our next show is at the Olympia Farmer's Market , Friday April 13, from 11-2 pm. Hello from Cool Breeze! It's been a frigid week but we persevere here in the Pacific Northwest! I've been creating a set list of tunes for my upcoming performance at Dillinger's in downtown Olympia. That date for your calendar is Monday March 12 from 6-8 pm. I may be joined by violinist/violist, Kathleen Scarborough. Between practicing and tending to the needs of resident humming birds in the freezing cold, we have been editing our website for Mystic Journeys , our new sailboat chartering business, and getting Traveler, our 42' sailboat all spiffed up and presentable to guests.
